Founder & CEO

Therese is an educator-turned-entrepreneur with 30+ years as a teacher, coach, principal, and director of technology. Her first-hand experiences in these roles gave her clear insight into the real challenges educators face on a daily basis and how to support them. She founded Light Blue Learning to bring nervous-system literacy into everyday classroom practice—supporting teacher well-being, nurturing student regulation, and making classroom management more humane and effective. She has completed The Polyvagal Certificate Course: Safety, Connection, and the Human Experience.

CTO & Technical Co-Founder

Gaj is a seasoned software engineer and technical leader with over two decades of experience building and delivering large-scale, high-impact solutions. Known for his deep technical insight and hands-on approach, he has consistently contributed to the design and implementation of complex systems that drive measurable results. Over the course of his career, Gaj has also been awarded patents — a testament to his innovative thinking and commitment to advancing technology. His work reflects a rare blend of precision, creativity, and long-term vision — traits that have made him a trusted problem-solver and innovator across many challenging projects. Gaj is passionate about exploring emerging technologies, refining engineering excellence, and mentoring others to achieve their full potential.

Andrea (May) Davenport
Andrea (May) Davenport

Master Educator

Andrea is an experienced educator and instructional coach whose career spans teaching from early childhood through middle school. She has worked with students from pre-K (4-year-old kindergarten) up through 8th grade, gaining broad insight into early- and middle-school pedagogy and child development. In addition to classroom teaching, Andrea has supported learning environments by managing student and teacher devices — reflecting a strong technical and operational aptitude alongside her instructional skills. As a coach and mentor for fellow teachers, she brings a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development. Andrea’s track record demonstrates versatility, dedication to student growth, and a capacity to adapt teaching and technology to foster effective learning environments.
